Hiawatha Lewis Bio
Hiawatha Lewis is a gospel preacher, visionary leader, and community builder who experienced a divine call to ministry on December 24, 1996. Responding in obedience, he received several years of evangelism training through the National Baptist Convention and began faithfully serving the call at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Scott, Arkansas.
In 2007, Pastor Lewis founded The New Covenant Christian Church, which later became Argenta Worship Center, a Spirit-led ministry grounded in biblical truth and prophetic insight. Under his leadership, the church thrived for seven years before transitioning in 2020 to a fully online ministry, offering weekly worship services every Sunday and Wednesday. In 2013, the church expanded its outreach by launching a public Bible study at the Patrick Henry Hays Center in North Little Rock.
That same year, Pastor Lewis spearheaded the development of a Community Development Center in the Dixie Addition community. There, he launched several transformative initiatives, including:
-
A junior board for training emerging leaders
-
The first National Night Out celebration for the community
-
A dynamic and uplifting youth talent show
-
A summer feeding ministry that provided nourishment and hope for local youth
His commitment to service extends beyond ministry. In 2019, Pastor Lewis founded Lewishi Transportation, LLC, a faith-guided transportation company rooted in excellence, innovation, and integrity.
Whether preaching the Gospel, empowering communities, or building Kingdom-minded enterprises, Hiawatha Lewis remains driven by one purpose: to glorify God and serve people with love, vision, and unwavering faith.
